Fountain is a committed teacher of Drawing and Painting with over 20 years of experience at the undergraduate level. His teaching practice is centered in Visual Language Fluency, An Invitation to the Conversation of Painting, and Discernment of Visual Vocation. He teaches all these in the context of spiritual and religious identity.

Fountain is currently completing a fully-illustrated text that he has titled, with some level of humor, “A Spiritual Manifesto for the Maker of Art.”
