Fountain is a committed teacher with over 20 years of undergraduate experience . His teaching practice involves developing students’ visual language, introducing students to the vast and varied conversation of painting, and discerning what each artist has to add to that conversation. He aims to center all of these in a dialog with one’s spiritual and religious needs .
Fountain is currently working on a fully illustrated text that he has titled, with some level of humor “A Spiritual Manifesto for the Maker of Art.”
